The board owed the 49ers one, and it paid up: Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, the No. 62 name on the board, sitting there at slot 92 like a gift left on the doorstep. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. They will need Parker II to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
