The Raiders finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B-.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Raiders spent their marquee pick on Fernando Mendoza, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

They will need Davis to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. That Wheatley pick is the receipt they will wave around later. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.

Pick2 Rnd1 Fernando Mendoza

In the 2nd overall pick they get the face of the franchise at fair value. A real need, handled.

Pick33 Rnd2 Sonny Styles

A reach on Sonny Styles in No. 33; the board had better options right there. A minor need, but a need all the same.
