There is conviction, and then there is this. The Chiefs took Thor Griffith a full 67 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

The Loveland value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. A whole weekend of picks and wide receiver is somehow still a want.

Tight end was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
