Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bears were there to profit. Kevin Winston Jr., the No. 92 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick 142.

The cost of the Jacas reach is exactly the players who went right after him. A whole weekend of picks and cornerback is somehow still a want.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
