You build a draft on nights like this. Ryan Fitzgerald had no business being available in the 240th overall pick, and the Bears did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain. They will need Tuimoloau to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.
