Larceny in No. 234 lands the Cowboys a A, Ward and all. The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Cowboys watched Cam Ward slide 226 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Little to argue with here, and the A says so.
The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
The veteran additions, Jonathan Taylor chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
In the end it comes back to Travis Hunter, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
