You can draft well and still miss the point. The Jets did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to quarterback, which was the need that mattered most.

However the rest shakes out, Egbuka at that price is a win they earned. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 2 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
