The phones sank the Buccaneers this weekend: C+.

You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Buccaneers did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. It washes out to a C+, no better and no worse.

The Buccaneers indulged a want in Abrams-Draine while a need in tight end, cornerback and other spots stayed open. Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They will need Frazier to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Hit on Jer'Zhan Newton and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
