More right than wrong for the Steelers, and a B to prove it.

You can hear the double-takes from here. The Steelers took Nohl Williams at the 123rd overall pick, roughly 54 spots before his name belonged. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

However the rest shakes out, White III at that price is a win they earned. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly. The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
