Draft Grade — Jaguars
Overall B-
ValueB NeedB+ TradesF FutureA
The Jaguars got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the B-.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Jaguars shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.

Reaching for Tuten left real value on the table behind him. They banked enough surplus on Ersery to cover a lot of smaller sins.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped safety, which is a strange place to end up.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.

Pick Analysis
Pick25 Rnd1 Tyler Warren
In the 25th pick they get a moveable chess piece at tight end, outstanding value to boot.
Pick36 Rnd2 Tyler Booker
They paid sticker price for Tyler Booker in slot 36, and that is fine. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick58 Rnd2 Alfred Collins
Alfred Collins at pick 58 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick70 Rnd3 Aireontae Ersery
Steal is underselling it; Aireontae Ersery at pick No. 70 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick88 Rnd3 Savion Williams
Savion Williams at No. 88 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick106 Rnd4 Denzel Burke
Denzel Burke in Round 4, Pick 5 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick125 Rnd4 Bhayshul Tuten
Bhayshul Tuten at the Round 4 slot is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
