Draft Grade — Jaguars
Overall B
ValueB NeedB+ TradesC+ FutureA
Nothing loud, just a tidy B for the Jaguars.

This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Xavier Watts, the No. 44 name on the board, stolen at pick 70.

They are betting Tuten proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 6 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Pick Analysis
Pick22 Rnd1 Kenneth Grant
In the 22nd overall pick they get a load in the middle. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick36 Rnd2 Tyler Booker
Tyler Booker in Round 2, Pick 4 is fair value, right on his grade. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick49 Rnd2 Emeka Egbuka
A top-tier wide receiver at a bargain, Emeka Egbuka in slot 49, plain and simple. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick55 Rnd2 Donovan Jackson
Donovan Jackson at Round 2, Pick 23 is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick70 Rnd3 Xavier Watts
A safety of that caliber at pick No. 70 is the definition of value, full stop. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick88 Rnd3 Elijah Arroyo
Elijah Arroyo in pick 88 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick107 Rnd4 Tai Felton
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Tai Felton at the 107th pick is the proof. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick119 Rnd4 Cam Skattebo
A tidy bit of business in the Round 4 slot, where Cam Skattebo graded well above the range. It fills a real need, too.
Pick126 Rnd4 Bhayshul Tuten
Bhayshul Tuten at the 126th overall pick is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
