A passer of the future in Mendoza, and a B-, for the Raiders.

The Raiders spent the pick that matters most on Fernando Mendoza, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

Lawrence has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.
