A passer of the future in McCarthy, and a B+, for the Commanders.

After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Commanders committed. J.J. McCarthy is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The Powell-Ryland pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
