They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Caleb Williams is the Bears' quarterback, full stop.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. Getting Thomas where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The Jones reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
