A costly weekend of dealing drags the Bears to a D.

The Bears did not so much draft Ben Sinnott as overpay for him, 41 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Driskell. The Bears paired the rookies with proven help, Budda Baker leading the way.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
