The search is over. The Commanders handed the keys to Caleb Williams, and the whole operation now runs on his development. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

Barner at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Spending an early pick on OLB-EDGE with wide receiver, running back and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
