A solid, sensible weekend for the Patriots: B-.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Patriots reached some 58 spots for Trey Moore, and value like that does not grow back.

That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Getting Raridon where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The skill positions did well by the weekend.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
