Mbow should have been long gone. The Lions pounced, and earned a B.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Marcus Mbow tumbling to the Lions in Round 3, Pick 30 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. The bottom line is a respectable B.

Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Every board in the league had Cooper lower, and that gap is the story. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

On the needs board they went 4 of 9, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
