If one pick saves this weekend, it is Wheatley. They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
