The Lions cashed the board's mistake on Felton: B.

The Lions spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Tai Felton, the No. 79 name on the board, in Round 4, Pick 12.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
