You could see the war room lean forward. Azareye'h Thomas at the 232nd overall pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

They trusted the board more than the depth chart.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Ashton Jeanty and all.
