If confidence were a draft strategy, the Jets would have aced it. James Brockermeyer at the Round 6 slot is 110 spots clear of where he belonged. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

The Jets indulged a want in Styles while a need in edge rusher stayed open. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Job largely done: quarterback settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
