The Bengals let Jones fall into their laps, and walked away with a B-.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bengals were there to profit. Sheridan Jones, the No. 212 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick 254. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

Spending an early pick on edge rusher with interior defensive lineman, linebacker and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
