The Bengals cashed the board's mistake on Clark: B-.

The board owed the Bengals one, and it paid up: De'Corian Clark, the No. 195 name on the board, sitting there at the Round 7 slot like a gift left on the doorstep.

The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The roster is better shaped than it was, with tight end chief among the fixes.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
