The steal of the weekend belongs to the Bengals and Dixon: B-.

Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Johnny Dixon got past him. The Bengals do not have to explain a thing at pick 238. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Thomas Jr. has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

The skill positions did well by the weekend.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
