The Bears bet the future on Williams. The board says D.

Somebody took the Bears to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it.

So much rides on Caleb Williams that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

Reaching for Van Pran left real value on the table behind him. However the rest shakes out, Phillips at that price is a win they earned.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
