The Jets got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the B.

The Jets spent real capital to be 69 picks early on Patrick Payton, and the board is going to hold them to it. No fireworks, but a solid B.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. On value alone, McAlister makes the weekend a net positive. The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

They went 7 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
