Somebody in Round 6, Pick 30 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Jets sat still while Chris Paul Jr., the No. 112 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

Everything downstream of Shedeur Sanders depends on Shedeur Sanders, and the building knows it. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
