The steal of the weekend belongs to the Jets and Cornelius: B.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Jets were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

The Cornelius pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Simon has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
