The Jets cashed the board's mistake on Anthony: A.

The real work happened on the phones. The Jets fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with. Just about everything broke right, and the A follows.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Getting Anthony where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.
