After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Jets committed. Fernando Mendoza is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

They took Fernando Mendoza at par in the Round 1 slot, which is nothing to complain about. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
