The Giants' one glaring miss is interior defensive lineman, a need they left exactly as they found it. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Hecht. The Giants clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

On the needs board they went 6 of 9, with safety the one that mattered most.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
