No fireworks, just a tidy B for the Jets.

The rest of the league had time to spare on Parker Brailsford; the Jets did not wait, grabbing him 28 spots ahead at pick 103. The bottom line is a respectable B.

The Jets indulged a want in Perkins Jr. while a need in interior defensive lineman stayed open. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

However the rest shakes out, Reese at that price is a win they earned. Job largely done: quarterback settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
