Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall
B-
ValueB-
NeedB+

FutureB-
Altmyer should have been long gone. The Ravens pounced, and earned a B-. The Ravens did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Luke Altmyer fell into slot 251. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.
They will need Rhodes Jr. to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick Analysis
Pick3
Rnd1
Kadyn Proctor
In the Round 1 slot they get an anchor for the offensive line. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick34
Rnd2
Quincy Rhodes Jr.
They reached into another round for Quincy Rhodes Jr., and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick70
Rnd3
Brian Parker II
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Brian Parker II. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick105
Rnd4
Anto Saka
The board had cheaper options than Anto Saka at the 105th overall pick, and it noticed. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick142
Rnd5
Jyaire Hill
Jyaire Hill at No. 142 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick145
Rnd5
Logan Jones
They did well to land Logan Jones in the 145th pick, just ahead of his grade. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick167
Rnd5
Terion Stewart
Terion Stewart at pick No. 167 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick174
Rnd5
Monroe Mills
Monroe Mills at pick 174 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick176
Rnd5
Zane Durant
Zane Durant in the 176th overall pick is fair value, right on his grade. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick251
Rnd7
Luke Altmyer
Luke Altmyer in No. 251 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick255
Rnd7
Brandon Inniss
They read the board right and Brandon Inniss was the payoff at slot 255. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
