You could see the war room lean forward. Jared Verse at No. 112 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
