The Jets went off the board in a big way for Eric Gentry, 83 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another.

They have staked the next five years on LaNorris Sellers, which is the only story that really matters here. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong.

Allar at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped safety, which is a strange place to end up.

If LaNorris Sellers and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
