There is reaching, and then there is Bilhal Kone at the Round 6 slot. The Jets jumped the board by 32 and dared it to prove them wrong. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
