You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Jets did exactly that with Dont'e Thornton Jr. in slot 119. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
