The phones were a trap the Jets kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. A weekend of give and take that grades a C-.

The Nolen steal is the beam this whole class leans on. If Thornton Jr. pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up.

In the end, a coin-flip class: fine today, with a wide range of outcomes ahead.
