The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Carson Beck, slot 200, roughly 36 picks past where he belonged. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They are betting Velling proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
