Mensah is the plan now, and the Jets grade out a C. They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Darian Mensah is the Jets' quarterback, full stop.
The Cook pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The phones were where this weekend was really won.
That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.
If Darian Mensah and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
