There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Jets started one anyway for Jalen Milroe, 22 picks ahead of schedule.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up. The Reed pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
