The Jets treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending the Round 6 slot on Jalen McLeod a full 23 spots early.

The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Getting Grant where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
