Thirty-one other rooms let Kyle McCord slide, and the Jets were the ones holding the card at Round 5, Pick 7. Highway robbery.

A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. Every board in the league had Trapilo lower, and that gap is the story. They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
