The board owed the Jets one, and it paid up: Lathan Ransom, the No. 107 name on the board, sitting there at the 182nd pick like a gift left on the doorstep. No fireworks, but a solid B.

Dumas-Johnson has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
