Somebody in Round 7, Pick 9 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Jets sat still while Christian Jones, the No. 183 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with quarterback the one that mattered most.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
