A solid, sensible weekend for the Panthers: B.

The Panthers torched the value chart for Princewill Umanmielen, taking him 29 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

They punted on offensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. That Fitzgerald pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the offensive lineman spot they never got to.
