The trade table was where it all came apart. The Jets shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. The process wobbled, and the D is where it lands.

The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Emmanwori.

Jaycee Horn gives the group a proven body among the projects. Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
