The Chiefs spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Kenyon Sadiq, the No. 25 name on the board, in No. 45. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. Reaching for Hunter left real value on the table behind him. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.

In the 14th overall pick they get a long-term starter on the line, reach and all. The biggest hole, addressed.

Pick45 Rnd2 Kenyon Sadiq

Kenyon Sadiq in pick No. 45 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
