Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Jets spent No. 256 on Jaylon Hutchings, a name most had 98 spots down the list.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback.

However the rest shakes out, Ulofoshio at that price is a win they earned. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.
